The Pact for the Future and its two annexes, the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations, were adopted by United Nations General Assembly Resolution A/RES/79/1 at the Summit of the Future on September 22, 2024. This framework represents an important step for the international community, outlining a shared vision and commitments to address global challenges and strengthen long term multilateral cooperation. In our committee, conducted entirely in Spanish, delegates will examine these documents and their impact on global governance and sustainable development.

Together, the Pact for the Future and its annexes will guide and support the implementation of 56 actions across the following five priority areas.

The Global Digital Compact, aims to advance an inclusive, open, sustainable, and equitable digital future for all, through the achievement of five key objectives.

The Declaration on Future Generations reaffirms the commitment to building a stronger, more effective, and more resilient multilateral system grounded in international law, transparency, and mutual trust.
